Why I’m Bringing Reiki Into My Chair Work

When I started as a cosmetologist, I quickly realized beauty isn’t just about products or perfect blowouts, it’s about touch, presence, and connection. Every time I lather in your shampoo, massage your scalp, or stand with you through your stories, I’m doing more than styling your hair. I’m supporting your energy, your confidence, and often, your spirit.
That’s why Reiki felt like a natural next step. For years, I’ve been offering comfort and healing unconsciously through touch. Reiki gives me a way to be more intentional with that care. It’s not about changing your salon experience into something unfamiliar, it’s about deepening it.
With Reiki, I can:
- Help calm the nervous system while you’re in the chair
- Support your confidence so it lasts between visits
- Offer a sense of collective wellness that ripples back into your family and community
So when you ask, “Why Reiki?” the answer is simple. I’ve already been touching, listening, and holding space for you. Reiki just makes that energy more purposeful, so you walk out not only looking good but feeling renewed, grounded, and supported.
